Hey Senior STARS,
Just a friendly reminder that our 7th Clinic of the Senior STARS Program is coming up this Wednesday, March 19th, at the West Resort.
We’ve got 36-43 inches of snow, and conditions are **epic**, thanks to a generous 18-20 inches of snow this past week. The slopes are looking great, so make sure you dress for the cold! Road conditions should be fine, but **better safe than sorry**—carry chains just in case, because you never know when Mother Nature will throw in a little surprise.
While you're here, swing by our retail store inside the Big Pines Lodge, where soft goods are already on sale! You and your family can snag up to **25% off**—it’s like a secret Santa gift, but for you. Don't miss out, or you'll be kicking yourself all the way down the slopes.
**Lift Tickets and Rentals Update:**
Heads up! The Reservation Center and Rentals by the Bullwheel Grill will be closed next week (yep, no bull). After purchasing your lift ticket online, head to the kiosk by the main ticket office, scan your barcode, and **voila**—instant lift ticket! If you need rentals, go to the main ticket window to get your rental voucher. Easy peasy, right?
We’re hoping all Senior STARS who’ve been with us this season will join us this Wednesday, March 19th, for a **$12 Mexican lunch** (cash or credit card). Let’s get together and celebrate 16 amazing years of Senior STARS! I’ve also got some fun gifts to give out during the luncheon—who doesn’t love free stuff? Please RSVP for lunch by Sunday so I can give Food and Beverage an accurate headcount. Don't leave me hanging!
**Oh, and a little bonus:** Sports LTD in Woodland Hills is having an **end-of-season sale** with up to 25% off! If you’re in the market for skis or boots, now’s the time to buy. You’ll also get a **great discount** on Atomic products, so you can feel like a pro on the slopes. (Don’t worry, you’ll still look awesome even if you’re not a pro.)
P.S. Our last clinic is 3/26/25
Can’t wait to see you all Wednesday!
Ski you soon,
Bill
SAD News
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Dave Bruce, who left us Thursday morning. Dave was a dedicated ski instructor for the Senior Program STARS, and his passion for teaching and commitment to the Senior community left a lasting impact. He touched the lives of so many with his patience, kindness, and expertise. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of learning from him. Our thoughts are with his family and all who knew him during this difficult time.
