STARS Clinic March 11th Cancelled

Just want to let you know that our next STARS Clinic, Wednesday, March 11th will be cancelled due to snow conditions not the BEST for you Seniors. This does not mean the end of the season but a temporary hold on our program till we receive more natural snow.

I want to THANK each and every Senior who participated this season and your commitment does not go unnoticed by the instructors and me too. You are why we do this each week here at Mountain High. Most of you have been with us since the beginning, February 2010.

We have almost completed 6 years of the program. From our eyes it has been a fantastic program and we want to make it even better next year. Please take a minute and email me one thing we can glow on (Positive) and one thing we can grow on (Improve). This will help us develop the necessary goals for next years program. Your input is so valuable, without it we cannot build the program.

I would like to personally thank the instructors who have been incredible this season dealing with all the changes we have had to endure to make this program work. This TEAM is OUTSTANDING and a pleasure to work along side each and every Wednesday. Without their commitment we could not meet the individual needs for you Seniors. Thanks.. Ron, Allan, Larry, John, George D., Bruce, George M. Joan, Ava, Heinz and Jim.

I also want to thank Cindy, Tracy, and Katie for their continued support behind the scenes to make our program the BEST! Thanks ladies!

Our STARS Program would not have been possible without the complete support of management. In the past six years, they have provided resources in making the Program successful. Thanks Karl, Michele, John, Ben and Robert.

Last but not least I want to thank Nord Embroden, our Winter Sports School Director who works tirelessly making our WSS the BEST. He has given his total support behind the STARS Program and all of us really appreciate it.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can bring you GREAT news that we will have the snow conditions warranted to have our next STARS clinic.

Until then….. Ski u later,

Bill

Senior STARS Clinic

Hi STARS:
A wise man once said,"If You Build It, they will Come." Well our STARS have definitely come through again as we had 61 Seniors attend our 6th STARS Clinic of the season. With snow conditions being improved this week thanks to Mother Nature, and also our fabulous snowmakers, we had excellent coverage for our clinic.
We saluted 10 NEW Seniors today to our STARS Family. Our snowboarders continue to grow as 8 snowboarders came and rode all over our mountain. We also saluted Ron Parody, who for 40  years have been teaching students at Mountain High. Ron has been on sick leave but I did see him today working with 4 NEW Seniors today on the hill. Welcome back, Ron!
Our weather was perfect with blue skies and plenty of sunshine. With temperatures dropping at night and a possibility of some snow next week we could be looking at another Senior STARS clinic. I will keep you posted this Saturday on any updates for our next clinic on Wednesday, March 11th.
So if you build a great program, Seniors will Come! Thank you Seniors for a fabulous day! Looking forward to many more.

Ski u later,

Bill

STARS - Wednesday, March 4th at West Resort

Hi STARS:
Reminder for our 6th Clinic of the STARS program at the West Resort on Wednesday, March 4th. We received 4-5 inches of NEW snow these past few days and we have made NEW snow as well.

Today we are looking at snow flurries, so we will have very good conditions for our STARS clinic. Groomed corduroy for your pleasure this Wednesday and YOU don’t want to miss it!

So RSVP by Tuesday so I know how many instructors I will need to meet your needs.

Ski u Wednesday,

Bill
