Hi STARS:
What a
beautiful day we had at Mountain High East today! Blue sky,
plenty of sunshine and great snow! We
welcomed 20 New Seniors to our Program! Temperature was in the low 40’s and all
our ski groups and snowboard groups had a terrific time.
The actor Kevin Costner, in his movie
Field of Dreams, made famous the statement "If you build
it, they will come." This is also true of the Senior Ski Program at
Mountain High Resort. Our Seniors came today as we had 73 Seniors take part in
carving great turns on the snow at East Resort.
Our indoor clinic was met with great
approval from all the Seniors as John Ward and Ron Parody shared their
expertise on how to tune your skis and snowboards.
About 33 percent of you STARS purchase your
lesson and lift ticket online. Sure is easier from the comfort of your home
purchasing what you need instead of standing in line, isn't?
Don't forget to check out the retail store at
West Resort and East Resort. There are a lot of nice jackets, helmets and
gloves at reasonable prices.
Next Wednesday, January 20th we should have
plenty of groomed runs and maybe some NEW snow to ski and ride. Have a great
