Hi STARS:
WOW!! What a day for our 6th Senior STARS Clinic! Temperatures were in the mid 40's snow was fantastic! Hats off to all the groomers that make Mountain High the BEST!
Now we have to congratulate the Seniors for today too! We know you are our BEST ambassadors for our program and it showed today! We had 64, yes 64 Senior STARS take part in our 3 hour clinic. We began with a indoor clinic of 30 minutes where the instructors sat with their group and developed the goal for today. This assessment of you Seniors is critical so that we can meet your needs each and every week in our Senior Program.
I shared with you an article from Dr. Elissa Slanger called, "Senior Skiers and the Fear Factor" . We talked about recommendations for next year STARS program and I asked you to think about how we can improve our program. We then hit the snow at 9:30 am sharp and took our group photo. I want to personally thank Joe Montoya, from the Marketing Department in taking our group photo...YOU did an outstanding job, Joe!! THANKS!
Next week looks like we are going to have great weather too. With the temperatures dropping at night and low humidity we are hopefully to make some snow so that skiing and riding for the Senior Program STARS is the BEST!
