STARS Clinic 2/27/13

HI STARS:

What a day we had on our 8th clinic of the season! 49 Senior STARS skied and rode from 9:30-12:00. Beautiful blue skies and great snow greeted us early this morning and we made the most of it! Next Wednesday, March 6th should be a repeat of today!  

Next week looks like we are going to have great weather too. With the temperatures dropping at night and low humidity we are hopefully to make some snow so that skiing and riding for the Senior Program STARS is the BEST!  We are on Facebook too.  https://www.facebook.com/SeniorProgramSTARS Please "like" our page.

Reminder STARS Clinic - Wednesday, 2/27/13

Hi STARS:

Reminder for our 8^th Clinic of the STARS program at the West Resort on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.We received 9-12 inches of snow this past week and conditions are incredible! Groomed corduroy for your pleasure this Wednesday and YOU don’t want to miss it! 

So RSVP by Tuesday so I know how many instructors I will need to meet your needs.

STARS Clinic 2/20/13

Hi STARS:

What can I say about today as It looked like the Senior STARS had the Mountain High by themselves. 27 Seniors participated in our 7^th Clinic of the season.  With about a foot of NEW snow on top and about 7 inches mid mountain the STARS “were ripping it up today”!! Around 10:30 am beautiful blue sky and lots of sunshine greeted the STARS as we finished out the 2 1/2 hour clinic!  Coverage is excellent,  so make sure you come up again before our next clinic on Wednesday, February 27^th!

Reminder STARS Clinic 2/20

Hi STARS:

Just a reminder for our 7^th STARS Clinic of the season on Wednesday, February 20 at the West Resort! Looks like Mother Nature is going to bring us some Fresh Snow on Monday night into Tuesday and maybe a little early Wednesday morning. So Wednesday should be an epic day! You will not want to miss the “powder” on Wednesday. This could be YOU in the photo below!

STARS Clinic 2/13

Hi STARS: WOW!! What a day for our 6th Senior STARS Clinic! Temperatures were in the mid 40's snow was fantastic! Hats off to all the groomers that make Mountain High the BEST! Now we have to congratulate the Seniors for today too! We know you are our BEST ambassadors for our program and it showed today! We had 64, yes 64 Senior STARS take part in our 3 hour clinic. We began with a indoor clinic of 30 minutes where the instructors sat with their group and developed the goal for today. This assessment of you Seniors is critical so that we can meet your needs each and every week in our Senior Program. I shared with you an article from Dr. Elissa Slanger called, "Senior Skiers and the Fear Factor" . We talked about recommendations for next year STARS program and I asked you to think about how we can improve our program. We then hit the snow at 9:30 am sharp and took our group photo. I want to personally thank Joe Montoya, from the Marketing Department in taking our group photo...YOU did an outstanding job, Joe!! THANKS! Next week looks like we are going to have great weather too. With the temperatures dropping at night and low humidity we are hopefully to make some snow so that skiing and riding for the Senior Program STARS is the BEST!
