 Hi STARS:

Just a reminder about our SENIOR PROGRAM STARS 1^st CLINIC Wednesday, January 12th at 9:00 am. We will be at the WEST RESORT.  We will meet Outside Big Pines Lodge at the Foggy Goggle at 9:00 am. We will get on the snow at 9:30 am sharp!! 

 

The weather has been cold and mother nature has given us 24-36 inches of NEW snow and still snowing today. All runs are open so our first clinic should have lots of snow and lots of fun!!

We have 12-18 inches of snow at Mt High and looking at more new snow this weekend with cooler temps coming our way So, make sure you bring a smile on your face and we will have a great time.

Remember the ski and snowboard groups that you are in are very flexible. If you feel you need to move a little faster we can move you up to that group. Or if you want to move slower, talk with your instructor or myself and we will accommodate you too. We want you to have the BEST experience possible.

STARS Update

Good Morning STARS: 

Hope everyone is looking forward to a wonderful holiday season!! Just receive 10 inches of new snow last week, and conditions are getting better each day. We have up to 12 -18 inches of snow and we continue to make snow each evening.  Come up and get those legs in shape as now we have snow to slide.

 

This is just a reminder for our Seniors STARS Program Wednesday, January 12th at 9:00 am at the West Resort. Please purchase your lift ticket and your lesson online or at the ticket window before 8:30 am so you can meet your instructor outside at the Foggy Goggle by 9:00 am.

 

Remember we have an online registration process so you will never have to stand in another line again to purchase your lesson or lift ticket. Our online system will be up and running in a week, so I will send you an update on the process.

Clinic 9:00 am -9:30 am -Foggy Goggle

On Mountain Training (Clinic) 9:30 am – 12:00 pm 

 

Lesson: $ 40 Lift Ticket $ 25 Over 70 – “FREE” Rentals (New Shaped Skis) $ 15

STARS Update #3

Hi STARS:

 

All of you should be getting ready for January 12, 2022 for our first Senior STARS Clinic of the season. Can you believe it, it will be our 13^thyear for the STARS program.

 

Mt High will be opening soon so make sure you have all your gear ready and RSVP when we get closer to January 12th.  

 

Cost for the program this year is $25 lift ticket, $40 lesson and $15 rentals. You will be able to purchase online in a couple of weeks.

 

Don’t forget your skis/snowboards tuned and waxed so you will be ready to go this ski/sb season. If you need any equipment for this season, please give Steve Crane a call, at Sports LTD in Woodland Hills Bring this email to show him you are in the STARS Program at Mountain High and I know he will take care of you.

Welcome Back STARS 13th Year

 Welcome Back STARS!!

I hope everyone is healthy and safe and getting ready for our STARS Program this season.

Just a quick note to let you know it is getting that time of the year to pull out your skis/snowboard and get them tuned for the upcoming season. We are all looking forward to the Senior Program STARS beginning its 13th year!!

Mt High will be ready to open by November but we need to let Mother Nature take its course. Look for mid-November or so for the mountain to open. This will be a great snow season and I know you will have lots of fun in the STARS Program; I will guarantee it!

All of us here at Mt High are anxious for the season to begin!  Senior Certified Instructors are ready to go and are looking forward in working with you during the 2022 season.. Please mark your calendars for January 12, 2022 for the first day of our STARS clinics.

For those who ski or snowboard a lot during the season, I  recommend to purchased our season pass soon, as our price now is $499 till October 31st. If you are 70 and older it is $10.

If you have any senior friends or relatives that want to be a part of the STARS program, please have them email me and I will include them in our STARS database. This way they will receive all the updated information as we get closer to the first clinic on January 5th.

I am the area rep for Atomic Skis. Here is a great opportunity for you to ski on a great product for this winter season. If you need any skis for this season, please give Steve Crane a call, at Sports LTD in Woodland Hills. Let him know I sent you and you are in the STARS Program at Mountain High. I know he will take care of you.
