Another beautiful day at Mountain High with 25 Senior STARS taking part in our 2nd Clinic of the season. Check out the group attached to this email. Snow conditions were very good today, despite all the warm weather we have had in the past couple of months.

A “BIG THANK YOU” to our Groomers here at Mountain High who keep the runs “Senior Perfect” for us on Wednesdays.

Another thank-you to the 5 NEW Senior STARS that participated in our clinic today. In fact, we had a Senior today that is 89 years old! WELCOME to the New Seniors!!

Our 3^rd Senior STARS Clinic of the season will be Wednesday, February 7^th at the West Resort. Don’t forget that tickets opens up at 8:30 am and the lifts open at 9:00 am.

Monday Update for STARS

Good Afternoon STARS:

This is your Monday night update for the STARS Program on Wednesday, January 31st at the West Resort. Tickets opens up at 8:30 am now and the lifts do not begin to spin until 9:00 am.

Bring your smile and plenty of energy because this Wednesday we are going to have a great time. It is spring conditions at Mountain High and we will have plenty of sunshine and blue sky.

 

Don’t forget to get there early (by 8:30 am) if you need to purchase the lesson, lift ticket or rentals. If you have already registered for online purchases just go ahead and purchase your lesson and lift ticket online right from your own computer. Click the link to pay online:

Reminder STARS Clinic 1-31-18

Good Afternoon STARS: 

Just a reminder STARS that we have a Senior Clinic on Wednesday, January 31st at the WEST RESORT!! Don’t forget we will be inside at the Big Pines Lodge  at 8:15 am.

For those who have attended the clinic on January 24th and have registered for online purchases of lessons just go ahead and go to http://www.mthigh.com/seniors  to purchase your lesson and lift ticket. 

Click on the BUY NOW button, log in and then click on Senior STARS at the top of the page. This will take you to the STARS page to purchase.

For those who did not attend the Senior clinic last week you will need to go the TICKET WINDOW AT THE WEST RESORT with your ID at 8:15 am sharp! There you will receive your Quick-E Pass ($5.00 fee) so you will be ready to purchase your lesson, lift ticket online from the comfort of your own home next week. Remember our lifts do not begin to run til 9:00 am.

Remember the ski group you are in is very flexible. If you feel you need to move a little faster we can move you up to that group. Or if you want to move slower, talk with your instructor or myself and we will accommodate you too. We want you to have the BEST experience possible.

Thank You STARS

Hi STARS: 

What a beautiful day we had today at the West Resort! Blue sky, plenty of sunshine and great snow! 29 Seniors took part in our first clinic of the season. 

Equipment: If you need skis helmets, poles etc. you can find them at a Senior Program STARS rate at Sports LTD in Woodland Hills. Here is the information you would need to purchase your equipment.

Carpooling: Just a reminder if you have a need for carpooling to Mt High or Snow Day Car pool, just send me an email where you live and I will try and get you with another Senior to meet this need. I have had Seniors from San Diego, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Long Beach and Santa Barbara interested in carpooling..

Next Wednesday our indoor clinic will focus on turning your skis and boards by Ron Parody.

Wednesday, January 31st we should have plenty of groomed runs and maybe some NEW snow to ski and ride.

Reminder 1st STARS Clinic

Well it looks like we will have snow conditions that will be a positive experience for you at Mountain High in our STARS Program this Wednesday, January 24^th at the West Resort. Snowmaking will continue through the weekend and next week since the low temperatures will be in the 20’s.  We will have a great time!!

The process is as follows:

STARS Clinic Cancelled

Hi STARS:

Unfortunately, we will have to cancel this Wednesday’s STARS Clinic. Even though we received 4-8 inches of snow our daytime temperatures have reached in the 60’s and our new snow has diminished very rapidly.

 Therefore, our next scheduled STARS clinic will be Wednesday, January 24^th. If our temperatures begin to drop we will be able to make snow and we should be fine for the 24^th. Please check the Mt High website to see if we are able to begin snowmaking. I will update you at the end of the week as well.

STARS Clinic Cancelled

Good Morning STARS:

Dues to the warn temperatures and inclement weather we will postpone our 1st STARS Clinic and move it to January 17th. The mountain is closed today and possibly tomorrow as well. We want all Seniors to be safe and have fun so that is why we are moving the clinic to next week.

More information will be going out this week to let you know how things are looking for next clinic.

Have a safe week and enjoy the wet weather we are getting, we sure need it.
