Happy New Year!! Welcome Back Senior STARS to our 5^th year!!!

Just a reminder Senior STARS that we have our 1^st Senior Clinic on Wednesday, January 8th at 9:00 am at the WEST RESORT!! Don’t forget we will be inside at the Big Pines Lodge at 8:15 am for check-in. For those who have attended last year and have their Express Pass (registered for online purchases of lessons) just go ahead and go to https://shop.mthigh.com/c-16-senior-stars.aspx to purchase your lesson and lift ticket and rentals if needed.

You will find the registration form, which you will need to fill out and take to any window at West with your ID. There you will receive your Express Pass ($5.00 fee) so you will be ready to purchase your lesson, lift ticket or rentals online from the comfort of your own home next week.

I will outline very simple directions on how to use this online program at our January 8^th clinic. Please remember that you can only purchase the lessons, lift ticket and rentals for our Senior STARS Wednesday clinics.

If you have friends that would like to attend our clinics, they will have to go to the ticket window first to register for the program. They can go through the process to receive their Express Pass and use it for future STARS clinics.

The weather will be blue sky and around 45-50 degrees and snow is very good considering we have not received any natural snow for a couple of weeks. But our snowmakers do a fantastic job and there is great coverage on all your favorite runs.

We are all eager to meet you again and get started to make you the BEST Senior Ski and Snowboard STARS!! Instructors have been skiing and snowboarding to get in great shape for you. So make sure you are doing your exercises and have your skis and snowboard tuned and ready before January 8th.  We will be at the WEST RESORT as there is plenty of snow to ski and ride. I promise this will be the BEST STARS program yet.

Hi STARS:

Well it is time again to get our Senior Program STARS going for 2014!! We will begin the Senior Program on January 8, 2014. We will determine by January 3^rd if we are at the East or West Resort. Mother nature and our snowmakers have given us a great start on our ski and snowboard season. We have lots of snow to have a great time! If you have any questions about the program, please contact me.

So for 2014 we would like to officially "Welcome" you to the Mountain High Seniors Ski/Snowboard program (STARS). Last year we averaged 54 STARS each week. Looking forwarding in adding many NEW Seniors this season.

Remember we have online registration process. This way you will never have to get in another line again to purchase your lesson or lift ticket.

But YOU MUST FIRST GO TO THE VIP WINDOW AT THE  RESORT to begin the process. After you have shown your ID you will be given an Express Pass ($5.00 charge) to be used at the next clinics. After this initial set up at the ticket window you will be able to purchase your lesson, lift ticket and rentals from your own computer at home. All seniors who have an express card already & were previously registered DO NOT NEED TO COME TO A TICKET WINDOW. You can purchase the first lesson online. You do not need to buy another express card.

Just remember our program offerings are every Wednesday at 9:00 am at Mountain High beginning on January 8, 2014. We will begin with introductory comments, an indoor clinic and then a 2-½ hour clinic from 9:30-12:00 pm. Safety and fun is the key, with the morning being the best time to meet.

Mt High Today!!

Just came back from the Mt High and the snow is terrific! Mt High is making snow on all the runs we use in the Senior STARS Program. There were no crowds too, so it makes it easy to get some early season runs in and getting those legs back in ski shape. We are expecting 3-6 inches of new snow tonight and tomorrow so if you decide on coming up make sure your dress for it, as it was 20 degrees when I was out on the snow this morning!
