STARS Alumni Day

Hi STARS: We are set for our STARS Alumni Day this Wednesday, December 19th at the West Resort. The SNOW is great and we continue to make snow on a daily basis. You will have a fabulous time. Our goal this Wednesday is to get those legs back in shape. So.. we will have lots of fun!! We will meet in the Big Pines Base Lodge with check-in beginning at 8:15 am. Make sure you go to any ticket window (opens at 8:00 am) and let them know you are here for the Senior Program STARS. You will be able to use your Express Pass from last year but you are going to have to show your ID again to make sure you are at least 50 years old. There are no changes in the cost but we will not be giving a breakfast voucher this season. We will be out on the snow at 9:30 am sharp! So make sure you have your equipment ready and I will see you bright and early on Wednesday, December 19 at the West Resort. PLEASE RSVP BY TUESDAY NIGHT SO I CAN GIVE AN ACCURATE COUNT TO TICKETS. Alumni Day Changed

Hello STARS: Are you enjoying this weather? I hope so, enjoy it while you can but in a few weeks you will be back on the slopes enjoying the cold weather with great snow at Mountain High. Due to the lack of snow we will be postponing the STARS Alumni Day that was scheduled for December 5th. We have rescheduled it to December 19. This will be a SPECIAL DAY just for YOU! We will meet as usual, check-in and then break up in small groups with the goal is to get our ski legs back in shape. We will concentrate on safety and having fun. Welcome Back STARS

Welcome Back STARS!! Just a short note to let you know it is getting that time of the year to pull out your skis/snowboard and get them tuned for the upcoming season. We are all looking forward to the Senior Program STARS 4th year!! Mt High is ready to open as of this week but we need to let Mother Nature take its course. Look for sometime in the middle of the month for the mountain to open. This will be a great snow season, I have ben told. All us here at Mt High are anxious for the season to begin. Please mark your calendars for January 2, 2013 for the first day of our STARS clinics. We are in the planning stages to have a STARS Alumni Day at Mountain High on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. This will be a special day just for YOU! We will meet at Mountain High West, check in, hit the snow at 9:30 am and ski/ride till noon. We will end this special event with a luncheon. More information will be coming. Don’t forget your skis/snowboards tuned and waxed so you will be ready to go this ski season. If you need any equipment for this season, please give Steve Crane a call, at Sports LTD in Woodland Hills. Let him know I sent you and you are in the STARS Program at Mountain High.
